I think that's a good article on demography, but I wouldn't necessarily be scared by it. Conservative ex-servicemen produced the baby boom hippies of the 60's, and children always have a way of surprising their parents, especially politically.

This story is particularly potent in light of Israel, where the birthrate among Palestinians is huge over that of Jewish Israelis. That war is being lost, and fast, in the nursery.
