When you come out of a hole in the groun', and the Empire State Building or Flatiron are nowhere in site, sometimes it's hard to orient yourself. These guys are providing stencils to apply in front of the subway door. There's a design issue here, though: put it in front of the stairs and it could cause a logjam. Via Kottke.
Wacky Neighbor is the result of a fevered attack of boredom launched sometime around September 2002. The proprietor, Michael Condouris, has been described as mild-mannered, strange and elusive. If he were going to choose his own epithet, it would be "gravy-loving". His favorite dinosaur is the stegosaurus.
